Description We are offering a long term contract employment opportunity for a Part Time Accounts Payable Clerk based in Modesto, California. This role involves assisting with various accounting tasks within the team, focusing primarily on the processing and coding of invoices.

Responsibilities:

• Efficiently manage the opening and distribution of mail for the accounting department.

• Accurately import invoices into the accounting system.

• Code Accounts Payable to the correct General Ledgers and properties, which include approximately 30-40 residential and commercial properties.

• Route invoices to the correct workflows for approvals within the accounting system.

• Retrieve invoices from utility and HD Supply portals for processing.

• Carry out the processing and mailing of Accounts Payable check runs.

• Ensure attention to detail in coding expenses and Capex.

• Utilize Microsoft Excel and Yardi for data entry and invoice processing tasks. Requirements

• Must have a minimum of 2 years of experience in an Accounts Payable role

• Proficiency in Accounts Payable (AP) is required

• Experience with coding invoices is necessary

• Must possess strong data entry skills

• Should have experience in invoice processing

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel is a must

• Experience with Yardi software is preferred

• High school diploma or equivalent is required

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in work

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information

• Must be able to meet deadlines and handle multiple tasks simultaneously

• Good problem-solving and analytical skills are needed
