Description
Duties
Perform quality checks on finished goods
Record and report the results of quality checks performed
Assist machine operators in fixing quality issues
Aid in the collection, sorting, and storage of bag samples
Aid in training new employees on quality standards and quality checking procedures
Assists the QA Manager in activities meant to improve and maintain the facility’s SQF program
Assist QA manager in improving and maintaining the quality program
Performs other duties as assigned
Essential Abilities
Has a strong understanding of quality standards with finished goods made at ProAmpac Mobile
Reads, understands and follows all rules, regulations and work instructions
Has basic understanding of bag making process and steps required to correct quality defects
Has beginner level abilities when it comes to computer usage and data entry
Rotating shifts is a requirement.
Arrives at the workplace before the shift begins, day in and day out
Works scheduled overtime (weekdays and/or weekends)
Lifts up to 50 lbs. repeatedly
Communicates and cooperates with others as a team member
Compensation is based on experience.
