Pay: Starting at $85,000 per year; based on experience

  About the Job

  The Plant Leader will lead the operations team and oversee technical development and evolution of Mississippi Lime's Mobile Operation. The position is responsible for creating, implementing, and ensuring compliance of initiatives at the Mobile site. The focus is on team development, customer satisfaction for product quality and delivery, reliability improvement, process stability and repeatability. The Plant Leader also provides mentorship and core competency development for their team. This person will develop, design, and implement projects as needed.

• Interface with other resource leaders and management to develop strategies for the business functions both Site and Company Wide.

• Monitor and encourage communication and information transfer across all business units.

• Insure coordination and alignment between engineering, maintenance, production and traffic.

• Balance and adjust priorities based on changing conditions

• Ensure that appropriate technologies, systems and rigor are utilized in operation support and project execution

• Makes sure that the Mobile personnel have all the resources and training they need to do their job with excellence.

• Set standards of performance consistent with product needs

• Perform general engineering work for product line:

• Troubleshooting

• OPEX improvement projects

• Overall, proactive process monitoring

• Ensure Maintenance / Project focus on:

• Reliability (OST – equipment)

• Materials of construction (define / execute)

• Engineering Standards

• Meets and Exceeds customer expectations

  Required Qualifications

• Education: High School diploma or equivalent required. Bachelor’s Degree in a related field preferred.

• Experience: 5+ years’ experience in process manufacturing plant with bulk material handling equipment knowledge preferred, 5+ years of supervisory experience required.

• Knowledge: Functional/technical knowledge and/or experience commensurate to the role required.

• Behaviors: Demonstrated leadership skills. Excellent listening, coaching and communication skills required.
