Community Health Systems Director of Nursing in MO, United States

This is a full time Nursing Director position responsible for the oversight of one Medical Surgical department at Poplar Bluff Regional Medical Center in Poplar Bluff, MO.

The position's major responsibility is directing the day-to-day operations, budgeting, financial management, quality metrics and human resource management.

Reporting to the Chief Nursing Officer (CNO), this position is accountable for strategic leadership of one Medical Surgical department. Responsibilities include meeting regulatory and national standards, employee development, conflict resolution, capital and operational budget development and resolution/coordination of departmental operations with other departments within the medical center. The director is responsible for supporting Poplar Bluff's mission statement and planning for the provision of patient care within this patient population. The incumbent will support the CNO in a highly diverse range of responsibilities, including growth and development of this service line's ability to respond to a rapidly changing complex market. The position maintains 24 hour accountability for the team and provides direction, support and guidance to the charge nurses and aids in their development both clinically and managerially.

Requirements

Licenses/Certifications: Missouri RN license

Experience: 3-5 years Medical Surgical experience. Progressive leadership experience.
