GuideOne Insurance Member Integration Lead - Remote or Hybrid Opportunity in MN, United States

As the Member Integration Lead, you will be responsible for supporting the growth and success of TMG and its Member organizations by planning and implementing best in class operational processes. You will lead and support Member integration efforts following the signing of the Letter of Intent (LOI), beginning with Due Diligence, and continuing with Pre-Close (“Day One”) planning, integration planning, Member onboarding, through full integration execution.

In this role, you will be instrumental to the planning and executing of operational processes for member ecosystems. To succeed in this role, you will collaborate closely with the TMG Executive Leadership Team (ELT), Business Development, and the Member organization to coordinate due diligence and design an integration plan to support integration objectives. You will serve as the face of the TMG Integration team and will be essential in driving TMG’s Member onboarding strategy.

Accountabilities:

  • Support TMG integration program for one or multiple member onboarding engagements. Help orchestrate cross-functional teams through due diligence, integration planning and execution, value realization, and change management.

  • Serve as the face of the TMG Integration team by staying current with the evolving member strategy and business landscape, and any broader operational initiatives.

  • Partner with executives and function leaders to craft integration strategies that closely align with deal rationale and operating model.

  • Develop and coordinate the planning and execution of Member integration, including overlap analysis, contract reviews, introduction of the project to department leads, member sunsetting, member onboarding, post-closing systems training, and conversion.

  • Document detailed integration planning with activities, timelines, resources, and costs required to achieve deal specific value drivers.

  • Work closely with Integration team and Member to ensure integration plan is appropriately tailored to the Member’s unique business and culture, resulting in high employee engagement and business performance that meets or exceeds expected levels.

  • Enhance the Transaction Execution and Integration playbook with learnings from each integration. Maintain the master planning documents and templates, with support from the broader team’s contribution, on a periodic basis.

  • Establish strong partnerships with key stakeholders for each deal to collaborate and ensure alignment on the operating model, program strategy and execution, progress, risks, and key decisions.

  • Establish rapport, credibility, trust, and respect throughout the organization at all levels, and be viewed as a team player with effective communication and analytical skills.

  • Build, empower, and encourage cross-functional teams that partner with leaders to optimally plan and execute the Integration Roadmap.

  • Lead integration discovery sessions to understand the current operational model and Member ecosystem for onboarding.

  • Serve as active participant in Due Diligence of prospective members to lead the evaluation of key issues, to assess integration challenges and to develop post-close plans.

  • Implement effective operational processes with a lens towards scale and repeatability. Deliver continuous improvements that drive high impact value.

  • Drive timely and objective decision-making with sound advice and good judgment to sustain the pace of integration and maintain alignment with the deal rationale.

  • Define, implement, and communicate financial metrics and Key Performance Indicators to showcase the impact of integration on Member revenue, capacity, and experience throughout the transition period and to measure the success of the integration.

  • Design & collaboratively build executive-level status reporting.

  • Monitor, update, and propose changes to weekly integration key milestone reporting; present reporting to key leadership as required.

  • Present regular integration updates, ensure TMG ELT is aware of critical issues/risks, and drive them to resolution with consistent objectivity

  • Support Integration communication and enablement efforts to drive awareness and action.

  • Nurture the Member company through development of authentic, trusted working relationships and a thoughtful change management program to ensure an optimized employee and Member experience.

  • Ability to travel with periods of more frequency.

  • All other duties as assigned.

    Qualifications:

  • Undergraduate / Graduate degree, preferably MBA.

  • Substantial experience working directly in M&A integration or across a broad range of disciplines or consulting: Strategy, Product, Commercial, Operations.

  • Strong business acuity with experience in Insurance or Financial Services.

  • Knowledge of end-to-end corporate development activities.

  • Experience in pre and post-acquisition integration activities in technology companies.

  • Program Management Skills: Experience in planning and implementation of complex, cross functional business requirements. Effective in influencing to drive decisions. Ability to work well under deadlines and juggle multiple priorities.

  • Business Operations: Experience in operations including partner programs, partner onboarding, partner growth, partner marketing, lead / deal registration, partner portals, and/or partner co-selling.

  • Executive Communication Skills: High EQ, low ego. Strong communicator equally adept at communications planning and execution, with the ability to craft clear, high-impact communications with cross functional organization teams. Ability to manage controversial situations including senior level leaders and external groups.

  • Expert in M&A tools, data rooms, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint.

  • Easily establishes rapport and effective relationships with partners at all levels, while driving accountability for shared results.

  • High emotional intelligence and ability to challenge in a nuanced way, influencing areas of the business that are not under direct control.

  • Process Improvement Skills: Ability to analyze and optimize defined areas or processes within a cross-functional organization. Effective in implementing new and improved processes that align with business strategy, Member success and customer value.

    Compensation:

  • $129,000 - $215,000 commensurate with experience, plus bonus eligibility
