Job Summary

In the absence of the Department Director, the Nurse Manager will be accountable for 24 hour responsibility of supervision, direction, coordination of clinical based activities including delivery of patient care in Acute Care.

Education and/or Experience

• Bachelors degree preferred.

• Basic Life Support, NRP, and PALS certification is mandatory within six months of employment or entering the position.

• Minimum of 5 years nursing experience preferred, in home health, hospice, community health, oncology, medical, surgical or long term care.

• Supervisory experience preferred.

Licensure/Certification/Registration

• Licensed as a Registered Nurse in South Dakota.
