Your Role:

The Senior Financial Analyst is a key contributor to the High Performing Finance Team at Reynolds Consumer Products Canada Inc. This role supports the Director of Finance by providing financial guidance and analytics to facilitate key decisions, drive growth, and ensure the achievement of financial objectives.

You will have the opportunity to:

  • Support month-end closing by preparing monthly journal entries and reconciling HFM and SAP for accurate and timely book closures.

  • Conduct monthly/quarterly financial reviews (actual results vs. Plan, Forecasts, and prior year), identifying variance drivers, and effectively communicating findings to stakeholders.

  • Complete Account reconciliations for the assigned GLs and maintain backup and support for the GL balance.

  • Assist in preparing the annual financial operating plan and quarterly forecasts through financial modeling and analysis and maintain documentation of underlying assumptions.

  • Advertising & Promotion budget review vs. the Forecast and Annual Plan with the Brand Teams.

  • Handle quarterly and annual Stat Canada and other Government reporting requirements.

  • Prepare analyses and reports for monthly financial results reviews and leadership meetings.

  • Perform ad hoc financial modeling and analysis as needed for senior management.

We need you to have:

  • Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.

  • 3-5+ years of related professional Accounting or Finance experience.

  • High proficiency in Excel, including ability to use array formulas, pivot tables, and conduct financial modeling.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to communicate and influence at all levels within the organization.

  • Self-directed with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple accountabilities and multiple internal customers.

  • Strong analytical skills as well as organizational skills with high attention to detail.

  • Ability to effectively communicate technical information verbally as well as in written formats.

  • Ability to identify, analyze, and resolve problems logically and systematically.

  • Ability to work a flexible schedule during key business deadlines.

  • Must be team oriented with the ability to work on high collaboration and performance teams.

Icing on the cake:

  • Enrolled in CPA certification.

  • Corporate and/or manufacturing industry experience.

  • Experience with Hyperion Financial Management and SAP.
