Job Description: We are seeking a DO-326 Engineer to join our team. This role involves ensuring that our aircraft and helicopter engine designs meet the airworthiness security process specifications outlined in DO-326. This is a relatively new and evolving field, requiring a proactive approach to integrating security into aerospace design.
Key Responsibilities:
Ensure compliance with DO-326 standards throughout the design and testing phases.
Conduct security risk assessments and develop mitigation strategies.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate security requirements into design processes.
Prepare technical documentation and reports related to security compliance.
Participate in design reviews and provide security-related inputs.
Develop and execute security testing protocols to ensure compliance with DO-326 standards.
Analyze test results and recommend necessary design changes.
Prepare and maintain certification documentation to support the DO-326 certification process.
Ensure compliance with development assurance levels (DALs), safety assessments, and verification processes.
Familiarity with certification processes and regulatory requirements for commercial aircraft (e.g., FAA, EASA, TCCA).
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Aerospace Engineering, Systems Engineering, or a related field.
Experience with airworthiness security processes and standards.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Strong understanding of development assurance levels (DALs), safety assessments, and verification processes.
Familiarity with certification processes and regulatory requirements for commercial aircraft (e.g., FAA, EASA, TCCA).
