ROLE DEFINITION

As a Residential Demand Manager your primary responsibility is to drive revenue growth through demand creation work with large Strategic Homebuilders in the Canadian new construction residential market. This involves a clear understanding of building science and ability to promote the use of the full portfolio of Dupont products in the residential building envelope, including Styrofoam XPS, Tyvek Housewrap, Tyvek flashings and accessories, Protec roofing underlayments and Great Stuff/Great Stuff Pro and Froth Pak spray polyurethane foam air sealants.

This is accomplished through a consultative technical sales relationship with National and Strategic Home Builders across Canada, and by assisting the successful implementation of our demand creation strategies with the Residential Specialist sales team of independent contractor agents.

The role requires close coordination with multiple internal functions including Sales Leadership, National Account Managers (Channel), Residential Marketing and Marketing Communications, Building Knowledge Centre Technical supports as well as R&D team members. As a Residential Demand Manager you will l manage key customer accounts that supply to the production homebuilder end user in large metropolitan markets.

  • This position is Virtual Office (home) based 100%, in the Greater Toronto area.

*RESPONSIBILITIES DESCRIPTION   *

Your key responsibilities will be/what you’ll do:

  • Drive revenue and market share growth for the full portfolio of DuPont building envelope products with the large production builder market segment in Ontario, and strategic builders across Canada.

  • Collaborate with the Residential channel team including National Account Managers and Residential Specialist team. Act as a liaison to the Residential Specialist Team, as the focal point for demand creation resources from internal stakeholders.

  • Take the sales leadership role with industry groups such as the Canadian Home Builders Association, and with residential building science influencers and consultants.

  • Collaborate closely with the DuPont Building Knowledge centre team, R&D and advocacy to understand and proactively develop strategies to meet changing building code requirements.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS

Requirements:

  • Minimum 4-year Bachelor undergraduate degree required, a science or business degree preferred.

  • Minimum 5 years demonstrated success in consultative sales to senior leadership in customer organizations.

  • Building Science knowledge/competency and technical skill set required.

  • Strong communication and presentation skills required. French bilingual proficiency an asset.

  • Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Office, PowerPoint, Salesforce CRM, SharePoint, and Power BI required.

  • Self-motivated / self-starter. Delivers on commitments.

  • Willing and able to travel: 50% of time.
