Job Title: Production Supervisor

Job Description

The Production Supervisor will oversee and coordinate the daily operations of the assigned production department. You will lead a team of production workers, ensure adherence to safety protocols, maintain quality standards, and meet production targets.

Hard Skills

• Demonstrated supervisory experience with health and safety in an industrial establishment

• Ability to read shop details/drawings for welding/fabrication

• Experience training employees on welding and/or machine operations

• Advanced computer skills including Google Workspace and manufacturing software

• Solid understanding of manufacturing processes, quality control principles, and safety regulations

• Experience in a manufacturing environment with supervising a production line

• At least 5 years of supervisory experience in a unionized environment

• Welding MIG/TIG experience

Soft Skills

• Ability to influence others and move toward a common vision or goal

• Strong leadership and interpersonal skills

• Effective communication and collaboration with diverse teams

• Excellent problem-solving abilities and decision-making skills

• Ability to work effectively under pressure and manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment

This is a fully on-site position in Mississauga, Ontario.
