Production Solutions Consultant

The Production Solutions Consultant is responsible for the growth of production software and professional services in the designated territory. They would lead or support sales efforts with the Direct and Dealer sales teams as well as supporting the Production Specialists.

The Production Solutions Consultant is also responsible for training the Sales and Specialist teams on these solutions, industry trends and strategies for identifying opportunities.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Responsible for achieving prescribed targets through business development in the Direct and Dealer business channels

• Work in the field with Production Specialists, Branch Managers and Sales Representatives to prospect new account opportunities

• Work closely with Marketing to report successful sales and marketing strategies and provide input on new programs

• Forecast accurately and timely on a monthly basis with regular updates as requested

• Provide field level training and coaching on an ongoing basis. Training would be focused on, but not restricted to new and existingsolutions, opportunity identification and prospecting tips

• New solution (SW or PS) recommendations to ensure portfolio is robust in supporting customers business growth requirements

• Participate in a program of self-development with the objective of achieving "expert" status on Ricoh's hardware, software and associated products

• Responsible for communicating marketing and program support for the Direct channel

• Coordinate and support Direct and Dealer activities

• Assist sales with pre-sales and post-sales activities with commercial print production products and services

• Other duties as assigned by manager

Qualifications:

• Post-Secondary Education in a business related discipline

• Minimum of 5 years sales experience

Skills:

• Knowledge of Ricoh products and solutions desired

• Knowledge of variable data and mailing solutions as well as print automation and workflow software

• Strong verbal and written communication and demonstration skills

• Proficiency in the use of MS Office applications

• Strong technical aptitude and analytical abilities

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision

• Goal-oriented and strong time management skills

• Team player/builder, committed to team approach

• Integrity and professionalism

• Customer service focused

• Requires a valid driver's license and reliable transportation (and auto insurance coverage per Ricoh's policy)
