The Position:
12-month contract - ON SITE IN MISSISSAUGA
Reporting to the Manager, Learning and Development, as aLearning Lead,you will create, design, and deliver training content across various levels and departments within the organization. This is an exciting opportunity that will see you working with multiple stakeholders to develop, implement, program and provide supporting materials.
A little more about the role:
Leverage the Learning Management System to support all training objectives
Identify training and development needs within the organization through feedback, sales and operations results, job analysis, and regular consultation with various internal and external partners
Assist in the development of training content including train the trainer, e-learning courses, job aids, training videos, workbooks, leader guides, in-store training tools, etc.
Facilitates training sessions including build and delivery virtually as well as in person
Monitors and reviews the progress of trainees through LMS, carrier and OEM programs
Creates reporting to share with stakeholders and partners
Liaises with internal/external subject matter experts to leverage their expertise to improve content development and the LMS system
What we’re looking for:
Minimum three years’ experience working in training delivery, teaching, coaching, or facilitation
Proficiency in design and authoring
Strong Problem-Solving ability
Knowledge of adult learning and instructional design principles
Ability to proactively build strong relationships within a diverse organization
A few Nice-to-haves:
Bachelor’s Degree in a related field
2+ years in the wireless or electronics industry
Strong working proficiency with design and authoring tools such as Captivate, Articulate Storyline, Photoshop, Premiere and After Effects
Bilingual in English and French considered an asset
