Citigroup FX Technology Devops Lead in Mississauga, Ontario

Citi’s FX Technology group supports the front office technology operations of one of the world’s largest capital market businesses. Our talented technology group is looking for a hands-on, Dev-Ops Tech Lead for our FX e-Commerce and Distribution team covering Desktop, Mobile and Back End applications.

Key responsibilities:

We are looking for an experienced and enthusiastic DevOps expert who will be responsible for creating and managing the Dev-Ops pipeline for our e-Commerce and Distribution platforms.

  • Modernize and automate release management, deployment processes and strategies

  • Collaborate with engineering teams in the improvement of CI/CD practices

  • Support and maintenance of infrastructure to include on-prem and cloud deployments.

  • Collaborate with development, QA, and engineering teams globally on various business projects

  • Identify KPIs and implement scaling and resilience strategies in support of SLA expectations

  • Build a fully automated pipeline to build, Test & Deploy with out manual intervention

  • Manage a team of Dev-Ops specialists

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree (in science, computers, information technology or engineering).

  • At least 7 years of experience in System Administration, Dev Ops Engineering, or related fields

  • Strong Linux admin skills.

  • Experience in building Mobile CI/CD pipeline.

  • Good knowledge of CI/CD automated tools like Jenkins, Team City, Jfrog Artifactory, UrbanCode Deploy, Ansible.

  • Experience with Issue tracking systems like JIRA.

  • Good working knowledge of source control technologies (Git, Bitbucket).

  • Experience with containers and container orchestration tools (Docker (Podman), Kubernetes, OpenShift).

  • Experience setting up high availability / fault tolerant systems.

  • Working knowledge Bash.

  • Emphasis towards security aspect of software development and setup.

  • Good communication and collaboration skills in English.

  • Open minded and willing to learn new tools/methodologies/concepts.

  • Strong Problem-solving skills.

  • Sense of ownership.

Skills are considered a plus

  • Experience in operating in cloud environments like GCP or AWS.

  • Knowledge of infrastructure as a code tools like Ansible/ Terraform.

  • Experience with configuration management software.

  • Experience with RHEL.

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree (in science, computers, information technology or engineering).
