Main accountabilities include:
CMMS System Management:
Administer and manage the CMMS for the jet fuel storage and distribution system, ensuring accurate tracking of all maintenance activities, including preventive maintenance, corrective maintenance, inspections, and system upgrades.
Ensure that all equipment, parts, and assets within the jet fuel storage and distribution system are properly catalogued and maintained in the CMMS for accurate reporting and inventory management.
Develop, update, and maintain maintenance schedules, work orders, and preventive maintenance plans for all relevant fuel storage and distribution infrastructure.
Data Analysis and Reporting:
Analyze CMMS data to identify trends, recurring issues, and opportunities for improvement in the maintenance process.
Generate regular maintenance performance reports, including downtime analysis, work order completion rates, and equipment performance metrics, and present these to management.
Ensure that historical maintenance data is kept up-to-date and accessible for audit and reporting purposes.
Regulatory Compliance and Safety:
Ensure that all maintenance activities adhere to industry regulations, environmental guidelines, and company safety protocols.
Collaborate with regulatory bodies, external, and internal safety teams to ensure compliance with aviation fuel storage, handling, and distribution standards (e.g., API standards, CSA standards, and best practices).
Coordinate the maintenance and calibration of safety equipment related to fuel storage and distribution, such as leak detection systems and emergency shutoff mechanisms.
Inventory and Parts Management:
Oversee inventory management for fuel storage and distribution system parts, ensuring availability of critical components for timely maintenance and repairs. Assists with or issues daily orders for operations and maintenance.
Work with procurement teams to manage stock levels of spare parts, tools, and consumables needed for fuel infrastructure maintenance.
Troubleshooting and Issue Resolution:
Act as a point of contact for troubleshooting and resolving technical issues related to the CMMS or the jet fuel storage and distribution systems.
Work closely with field maintenance teams, engineers, and technicians to ensure timely resolution of any operational or maintenance issues.
Training and Support:
Provide training and ongoing support to staff involved in maintenance activities, ensuring proper use of the CMMS system and adherence to established maintenance procedures.
Promote a culture of continuous improvement and provide recommendations for optimizing CMMS use and maintenance practices.
Other:
Represents the Company in a positive manner, role-modelling ethical business behaviour and integrity.
Promote a professional image at all times applying the Company Uniform Standards.
Any other reasonable duties as requested by any direct or indirect report.
Qualifications and Experience:
At least 3-5 years of experience in maintenance management, preferably in a fuel storage, distribution, or aviation environment. Prior supervisory or lead experience in Fuel Farm operations preferred.
Strong experience with CMMS software (e.g., eMaint, Maximo, SAP, Oracle, etc.) and a solid understanding of how to configure, administer, and optimize CMMS systems.
Familiarity with jet fuel storage, handling, and distribution systems, including pumps, tanks, pipelines, and filtration systems.
Strong knowledge of maintenance strategies, including preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance.
Proficiency in data analysis and report generation.
Basic understanding of the operation and maintenance of jet fuel infrastructure and safety standards related to hazardous materials.
Must be a minimum of 18 years of age and legally able to work in Canada.
Must have valid Driver’s license and hold a DA.
Well organised with meticulous attention to detail and accuracy, able to work on their own initiative to specific deadlines, have the ability to recognise and deal with challenges promptly and efficiently.
Ability to drive and deliver improvement plans and the relevant follow-up processes.
Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills with employees, management, customers, and outside institutions.
Must be flexible to adapt to changing demands/circumstances/weather conditions.
Must be able to lift up to 70lbs when required.
Must be able to obtain and hold all required security clearances.
Computer literate with knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel.
