Description

We are offering a contract to permanent employment opportunity for a Staff Accountant in Mission Viejo, California. As a Staff Accountant, you will play a vital role in our financial operations, including accounts payable and receivable, account and bank reconciliations, and preparing financial statements.

Responsibilities:

• Accurately processing accounts payable and receivable transactions

• Performing account and bank reconciliations to ensure financial accuracy

• Preparing comprehensive financial statements for review

• Utilizing accounting software systems for data entry and management

• Maintaining strong communication with team members and stakeholders

• Applying understanding of GAAP principles in daily tasks

• Working proficiently with QuickBooks and Sage 300

• Handling other responsibilities as required to support the accounting department

Requirements • Possession of at least 1 year of experience in an accounting role.

• Proficiency in Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) operations.

• Demonstrable skill in performing Bank Reconciliations.

• Proficiency in using QuickBooks for accounting tasks.

• Familiarity with various Accounting Software Systems.

• Experience in Account Reconciliation.

• Ability to perform Bank Account Reconciliation.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel for data analysis and report generation.
