We built a brand new manufacturing facility on the outskirts of Miskolc in 2023, which includes assembly and office accommodation. Our Miskolc facility is a key regional facility for the driveline technologies that GKN Automotive supply to our global customer base. We employ hundreds of colleagues from the local community and will continue to develop the site over time.

What will you do in this role?

Ensure the onboarding of suppliers

• Setting up the system for ordering process, creating schedule orders/open orders

• Price follow-up, make sure the prices is up to date

• Build - up supplier strategy in locally managed commodities

• Monitor supplier’s performance (capacity – cost – delivery – quality) and take part in suppliers development programs

• Maintain and lead material savings projects and support technical changes

What are we looking for?

• Relevant qualifications and experience in a procurement role in a manufacturing environment

• Confidence in negotiation and build supplier relationsip

• Independence and pro-activeness

• Results orientation, analytical thinking, problem solving capability

• Proficient in English
