Job Summary

As a Project Manager you will be responsible for the management of one or multiple moderately complex projects concurrently; plans and performs analysis of company functions, processes, and activities.

Job Description

We are seeking a Project Manager to lead a dynamic team of business analysts, infrastructure, and software engineers. This role requires managing the construction and maintenance of mission-critical, high-visibility applications and hardware to support our business objectives. This position will be full-time, onsite, and a contract that renews on a semi-annual basis.

What You'll Do

  • Manage project scope and timeline, including scheduling, staffing, and resource allocation

  • Develop project estimates using established models and best practices

  • Define roles and expectations for project team members, providing necessary training

  • Integrate and oversee project requirements

  • Monitor project progress to ensure timely and budget-compliant delivery

  • Implement and manage project iterations

  • Maintain comprehensive project documentation

  • Communicate effectively with all project stakeholders

  • Coordinate with various teams and manage supplier and subcontractor relationships

  • Adhere to and enforce quality assurance processes

  • Manage changes through a defined scope change process

  • Represent the project team in both IT and business meeting

What You'll Need

Required:

  • Proven experience with project management in a technical environment

  • 5+ years of Project Management experience, with a preference for candidates with a technical background and team leadership or project management experience.

  • Strong understanding of Waterfall and Agile methodologies

  • Excellent communication skills, both oral and written

  • Ability to coordinate cross-functional teams and manage conflicts

  • Strong problem-solving, supervisory, and team leadership abilities

  • Excellent organizational and time management skills

  • Self-motivated with a focus on quality delivery

  • 3-5 years of Waterfall project management experience

  • 1-3 years of Agile/Scrum Master experience

Preferred:

  • Experience with vendor management

  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification preferred

  • Scrum Master certification preferred

  • Ability to effectively interface with all levels of management and technical teams

  • Proven leadership and team coordination skills

  • Strong multitasking ability and accountability

Physical Demands:

  • Ability to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions consistent with the ADA and other federal, state and local standards

  • Sedentary work that involves sitting or remaining stationary most of the time with occasional need to move around the office to attend meetings, etc.

  • Ability to conduct repetitive tasks on a computer, utilizing a mouse, keyboard, and monitor
