L3Harris Configuration & Data Management Specialist in Mirabel, Canada

About your next Challenge as a Configuration & Data Management Specialist :

Reporting to the Configuration & Data Management Section Chief, the Configuration & Data Specialist will be responsible for, but not limited to, managing requests for the export and import of data from the Department of National Defence (DND) and several L3 Harris services and subcontractors.

What will you do:

  • Participate in the management of project documentation.

  • Physical and electronic database management.

  • Maintain an understanding of and ensure compliance with applicable L3Harris policies and procedures.

  • Coordination of archiving activities including deposits, retrieval and inventory maintenance.

  • Provide continued and constructive process feedback for business process development.

  • Other duties and special projects as required.

    Required Skills and Experiences:

  • 6 years experience in the management of documentation

  • Experience in document management and control including the use of commercial software tools

  • Strong administrative and computer skills

  • Able to multi-task

  • Attention to detail and consistency a must

  • Ability to work independently with minimal direction

  • Problem solving skills

  • Experience in Configuration Management in defense or aeronautic environment would be an asset

  • Knowledge of the Enovia PLM and SAP systems would be an asset

  • Soft skills (Bilingual, Strong team player, Proficient in MS Office Suite with an emphasis on Word and Excel)

    Eligibility Criteria (Mandatory):

  • Must be eligible for registration with the Controlled Goods Program;

  • Must be eligible to obtain and maintain a government of Canada Reliability status and Secret Level 2/NATO SECRET security clearance.

  • Must be eligible to meet the requirements for U.S. International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR).

  • For on-site positions, our location not accessible by public transport, car/carpooling required.
