POSITION DUTIES: Conduct user research studies to evaluate usability, user satisfaction, and design requirements for applications, games, and products with methods including surveys, interviews, focus groups, user testing, card sorting, and other user experience (UX) research techniques. Conduct competitive analysis and benchmarking studies to identify UX best practices and opportunities for differentiation. Communicate UX research findings, recommendations, and design implications through reports, presentations, workshops, and interactive prototypes to internal and external gaming teams. Analyze quantitative and qualitative data from psychological data and user research studies to create actionable insights and game design recommendations. Partner with internal and external product teams to continuously improve Solsten products and experiences of clients. Keep up-to-date on UX research methods and human-computer interaction trends, methods, and best practices to meet the needs of the product teams. Distill large amounts of information and prioritize it given multiple concurring tasks. Position includes a telecommuting benefit from anywhere in the United States.
