Summary:The Business Banking Portfolio Manager has responsibility for a portfolio of Business Banking relationship customers from a designated market.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Serves assigned portfolio of existing customers for new and renewal applications.
Clearly documents the detail and requirements of a loan decision.
Manages Business Banking portfolio risk on an ongoing basis by monitoring customer credit-worthiness, adherence to loan terms and general business conditions.
Participates in setting team goals.
Performs other duties as assigned.
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree with 3+ years of business banking sales/credit experience or 6+ years of business banking credit and sales experience, in lieu of degree
Preferred Qualifications:
Proven credit, negotiation and communication skills.
Previous sales training is desired.
Experience with SBA or other government guaranteed loan programs
Knowledge of Huntington systems including EDR, Velocity, MAX, AFS & PMTS
Formal credit training preferred.
Excellent customer service skills, highly motivated, focused and goal oriented
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including professional grammar and demeanor
Strong organizational skills with attention to detail, planning and follow-up
Ability to build and expand quality internal and external customer relationships.

Compensation Range:
$47,000-$92,000 annual salary
The compensation range represents the low and high end of the base compensation range for this position. Actual compensation will vary and may be above or below the range based on various factors including but not limited to location, experience, and performance. Colleagues in this position are also eligible to participate in an applicable incentive compensation plan. In addition, Huntington provides a variety of benefits to colleagues, including health insurance coverage, wellness program, life and disability insurance, retirement savings plan, paid leave programs, paid holidays and paid time off (PTO).
