Position Title : PC/Printer Field Service Representative

Location: Minneapolis, mn Minneapolis MN 55369 United States

Duration: 24 months on W2

Pay Rate: $ 26/hr on W2

Overview :

This role involves providing hardware support and services for HP’s PC products, including laptops, desktops, RPOS systems, workstations, and printers. As a Field Service Representative, you will work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, troubleshooting and resolving technical/mechanical hardware issues while maintaining excellent customer service standards. Printer expertise is highly valued.

You will interact with customers and multiple levels of HP and client management to ensure customer satisfaction and uphold HP's contractual commitments. This position requires technical proficiency, mechanical aptitude, and the ability to independently prioritize and resolve issues within the defined scope of service.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide on-site hardware support, including configuration, installation, unit repair, and basic network setup.

  • Troubleshoot technical and mechanical hardware problems, including third-party software and network components.

  • Manage critical service events, escalating as necessary, and implementing technical action plans to resolve issues.

  • Educate customers on technology solutions and service offerings.

  • Collaborate with HP and customer teams to meet business objectives and contractual obligations.

  • Ensure financial alignment between service delivery and HP’s profitability goals.

  • Document and manage administrative responsibilities with precision.

  • Prioritize tasks and commitments based on contractual and operational requirements.

Qualifications

  • High School diploma or equivalent; additional hardware technology training required. College education preferred.

  • Technical/mechanical hardware repair experience.

  • Demonstrated aptitude for learning new technology.

  • Onsite customer-facing experience.

  • Ability to lift and move 50 pounds, crawl, bend, and stoop as needed.
