Xcel Energy Transmission Business Analyst in Minneapolis, Minnesota

The below job summary and responsibilities reflects the Transmission Business Analyst. The Associate Transmission Business Analyst will differ as fewer skills and/or experience will be required. The successful candidate will be placed at a level that is commensurate with the candidate's skills and experience.
Position Summary
Provide support in the management of the Xcel Energy Open Access Transmission Tariff (OATT) and Electronic Quarterly Reports (EQR) and reporting requirements for Transmission. Support Transmission Account Representatives with creation and maintenance within the Project Wise contract database. Participate in the preparation of FERC filings for the OATT and transmission agreements. Monitor and comply with FERC filing requirements related to transmission service. Track Requirements and assure compliance with existing transmission contracts.
Essential Responsibilities
Provide support in the management of the EQR reporting requirements for Transmission. Assist in the preparation of quarterly EQR reports for filing. Audit current EQR reports for errors and re-file corrected EQR reports, when necessary.
Respond to inquiries and provide information to TBR Reps and other departments concerning agreements (historical or current), such as; agreement content, FERC filing or EQR related information.
Provide support in the management of the Xcel Energy OATT within eTariff, via implementation of FERC requirements, assist in development of internal processes. Participate in the implementation and future process development to ensure FERC compliance.
Support Transmission Account Representatives by assisting in agreement location in FERC records and central file, agreement filings and contract compliance.
Support Transmission Account Representatives with creation and maintenance within the Project Wise contract database.
Minimum Requirements for Transmission Business Analyst (Salary Range: $61,500 - $77,000)
Bachelor's degree in business, computer or data management preferred or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Two years of business, accounting, paralegal, database, or similar experience required.
Excellent computer skills with Microsoft Office software. Requires a high level of confidentiality.
Preferred Qualifications:
FERC related experience and/or records management
Regulatory or contract experience preferred.
Minimum Requirements for Assoc Transmission Business Analyst (Hourly Range: $26.40 - $33.00)
Bachelor's degree in business administration preferred or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Para-legal beneficial, FERC related experience and/or records management.
Regulatory or contract experience preferred.
Excellent computer skills with Microsoft Office software required.
This position requires a high level of confidentiality.

The anticipated starting base pay for this position is: $54,912.00 to $77,000.00 per year
