We commit to encouraging and valuing inclusivity because every partner brings unique perspectives that help us better serve our clients.We are currently looking for a Staff Accountant in Minneapolis, MN.This position will be part of the Financial Reporting team and share responsibility for SEC financial statement preparation, daily accounting functions and month-end close, analyze and research accounting and financial reporting issues and assist in identifying process improvements.Responsibilities:Support the SEC reporting process including Form 10-K, Form 10-Q and other filings. Responsibilities include preparing financial statements or other supporting notes and disclosures; performing the necessary research to ensure the filing is complete and accurate; and reviewing XBRL.Support earnings release process, including collaboration with investor relations and financial planning and analysis.Perform monthly close and consolidation duties including preparing journal entries in the general ledger system, completing balance sheet reconciliations, and completing monthly variance analysis of expenses.Support and work with internal and external auditors.Identify opportunities and drive change in support of continuous improvement.Perform ad hoc accounting, reporting or financial analysis projects and provide insights for management as requested.Requirements:Bachelor's degree in accounting1-3 years of experience in public accounting, financial reporting or corporate accountingCPA certification or intention to obtain certification (preferred)Strong quantitative and analytical skillsProfessional written and verbal communication skillsPlanning and organization skills, including effective time managementKeen attention to detailFinancial services industry experience (preferred)As a leading investment bank, we enable growth and success for our clients through deep sector expertise, candid advice and a differentiated, highly productive culture.Our human capital, technology, marketing and other corporate support teams work with our business partners to maximize each employee.
