We are hiring a Sr Communications Specialist in our Bloomington, MN location. In this role, you will assist in the implementation and execution of internal communications strategies across the company. Responsibilities: + Develop and execute internal communications by curating content, developing strategic communication plans, writing and editing communications, producing internal videos, and designing internal graphics to support the company’s business goals and foster an informative, inspiration, and engaging employee environment. + Collaborate with the Shared Service Business Unit, including but not limited to the Community Foundation and Human Resources Team to create targeted communications that align with business objectives. + Assist in the management of all communications channels that facilitate information sharing to the company’s workforce, including the company intranet, digital communication platforms, corporate social sites, corporate blog and corporate website. + Partner with Corporate Communication team members to develop and implement a cohesive corporate social media strategy that enhances brand awareness, highlights Schwan’s culture, and showcases all business units by recognizing and celebrating employees, engages audiences through interactive content, and leverages analytics to measure and refine strategy effectiveness, ultimately supporting key strategic business objectives. + Help to define, shape, and implement the overall strategy to integrate the company’s community and social responsibility commitments into employee culture through programs that encourage volunteerism, philanthropy, and social engagement; closely partner with the Schwan’s Foundation to integrate initiatives (Special Olympics USA Game 2026, Schwan’s Helping Hands, Schwan Scholarship, and United Way) into internal communications strategies. + Foster relationships that enhance collaboration across business units, departments, and with internal partners contributing to effective business and employee communication outcomes as well as support the ongoing needs of the organization to inform, engage, and recognize employees. Qualifications: + Education: Bachelor's degree with related course work preferred. + Years of Related Experience: Typically has 3 -7 years of experience. + Knowledge/Skills/Abilities: Strategic Communicator with high emotional intelligence; proven success in conceiving and implementing internal communications strategies with measurable KPIs; advanced written and oral communication and presentation skills, strong project management and organizational skills; and high level of competency operating a PC and Internet including, MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and a basic knowledge of HTML code, Photoshop, and page layout programs. Compensation and Benefits: The base salary range for this position is $58,500 - $97,500 annually with eligibility for a 10% annual incentive bonus, that is based on organizational performance. The pay range represents the numerous factors considered in the hiring decisions including, but not limited to educations, skills, work experience, certifications, geography etc. As such, starting pay for the successful candidate(s) could fall anywhere within the stated range.
