Experience working in an Agile Environment As the Sr Associate, Truck & Upfit you will be the point of contact for clients in need of assets that cannot be ordered from the OEMs. (Original Equipment Manufacturer) offers support and consultation during and through the process of new vehicle purchases from dealers. Arranges upfitting and transportation logistics for all Stock with Upfit requests as well as all Heavy Truck Medium Truck, Forklift, Trailer, and Equipment orders both out of stock and Dealer orders. A Day in the Life Client facing point of contact for out of stock purchase Receives orders from clients Searches dealer inventory Reviews and sends quality offers to clients Manages workflow from order submission through delivery Provide consultative input regarding alternative vehicles and ordering methods for most effective and efficient delivery of complete vehicles (Turn-key with upfit complete) Arranges addition of upfitting throughout the order process & / or post-delivery. Provides full order resolution support in collaboration with FPS for vehicles purchased from dealerships Builds and maintains key contact relationships with dealers and suppliers. Provides insight and consultation on the status of dealership inventory Provides support to licensing related inquiries where unusual documentation may be requested as well as in-flight support for transportation issue resolution. Supports departmental initiatives for best acquisition policies Requirements Bachelor's degree preferred, or three to five years related experience or equivalent industry experience. Fleet or mechanical experience (with upfit ideally) is also preferred. Strong industry knowledge and familiarity with current state restrictions/laws pertaining to lease vehicles. Proven problem-solving skills with an analytical and inquisitive approach. Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities. Demonstrated strong communication skills.
