Description We are in the process of expanding our team with the addition of a Software Engineer based in Minneapolis, Minnesota. The primary job functions will center around the Information Technology & Services industry. In this role, the Software Engineer will be tasked with managing and querying Relational databases like MySQL, PostgreSQL, and utilizing frameworks such as Express and NestJS using JavaScript and TypeScript. The position offers an exciting opportunity for a detail-oriented individual seeking to contribute to a dynamic team.

Responsibilities:

• Utilize JavaScript and TypeScript along with frameworks like Express and NestJS for various tasks.

• Manage and query relational databases such as MySQL and PostgreSQL.

• Apply testing methodologies including Test Driven Development, Unit Testing, and Functional Testing.

• Use frontend frameworks such as React, Vue, or Angular for various projects.

• Work with AWS services like EKS, RDS, S3, and Lambda.

• Administer and deploy Kubernetes clusters, using CI/CD pipelines.

• Manage service mesh with tools like LinkerD or Kuma.

• Handle message queueing with Rabbit. Requirements • Position: Software Engineer

• Requires a minimum of 2 years of relevant work experience

• Proficiency in JavaScript and Typescript is mandatory

• Experience with Express.js and Nest is expected

• Must be knowledgeable in both MySQL and PostgreSQL

• Familiarity with Test Driven Development is essential

• Experience with front-end frameworks such as React, Vue.js, and Angular is required

• Knowledge of Amazon EKS, AWS Lambda, Amazon RDS, and Amazon S3 is a significant plus

• Must have experience with Continuous Integration / Continuous Delivery (CICD)
