Wells Fargo Senior Tax analyst in MINNEAPOLIS, Minnesota

About this role:

Wells Fargo is seeking a Senior Tax Analyst in the Controllers Division. You will be part of a team responsible for the accounting for income tax for the Company. In this role, you will have primary preparation and review responsibilities related to the organization's monthly provision process.

In this role, you will:

  • Prepare comprehensive tax work papers, perform complex account analysis and look for improvements in policies and procedures for the maintenance of tax-related records

  • Perform the most complex tax accounting activities related to the preparation of accounting for income tax computations

  • Perform analysis of complex transactions and research opportunities to determine appropriate accounting for income tax impacts

  • Evaluate issues and apply sound business judgment

  • Perform accounting for income tax research

  • Provide guidance to less experienced staff regarding established tax policies

Required Qualifications:

  • 4+ years of Corporate Tax experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education

Desired Qualifications:

  • An active Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation (DQO0007464)

  • Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail and accuracy- DQO0007352

  • Financial services industry experience DQO0004045

  • Experience working with changing priorities and deadlines (DQO0012087)

  • Ability to take on a high level of responsibility, initiative, and accountability DQO0004877

  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills (DQO0004928)

  • Essbase and/or SmartView experience (DQO0003966)

  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills DQO0004971

  • Ability to be flexible and adjust plans quickly to meet changing business needs DQO0012100

  • Experience with accounting for income tax software such as Longview

Job Expectations:

  • Ability to travel up to 5% of the time (JEO0000176)

  • Flexibility to adjust work schedule in accordance to the time zone for the market you are supporting (JEO0000272)

Pay Range

Reflected is the base pay range offered for this position. Pay may vary depending on factors including but not limited to achievements, skills, experience, or work location. The range listed is just one component of the compensation package offered to candidates.

$84,000.00 - $149,400.00
