Job Title Senior Manager, Legal Counsel Navitaire, an Amadeus company, are proven innovators in the travel industry shaping the way the world thinks about travel. We are looking for an experienced technology attorney that will lead the development of the legal strategy to support this mission-critical transformation. In this role, you would: Support new business models by identifying legal and compliance risks and advise on the implementation of risk-management strategies using strong thought leadership and support the business in managing them. Either supervise or directly negotiate complex and large SaaS/outsourcing agreements for Navitaire customers. In negotiating agreements, you possess the ability to balance between commercial and legal stakes, as well as identify and clearly communicate any legal risks. Work independently and with teams, driven by a need to make the complex simple and with an excellent legal judgement and business mindset. Have daily exposure to our customers and Navitaire/Amadeus senior management and would work very closely with Amadeus' legal teams around the world. Education University Degree in Law (eg. JD, LLB, LLM) and Legal Qualification to practice as a lawyer in US. Relevant work experience Senior professional with at least 8 years of post-qualification experience in private practice and/or in-house position in a multinational corporation. Experience in: Offering Counsel role supporting the development of new business models and go-to-market offerings; IT/SaaS/outsourcing agreements and related data privacy issues: Drafting contract templates Business understanding We are looking for a seasoned attorney with proven understanding of commercial principles involved in both bringing new offerings to market and negotiating agreements for such offerings. Experience and skill to serve as (lead) negotiator (preferably on the IT vendor side) who knows how to balance between commercial and legal stakes. Strong commercial outlook and great client care skills.
