Position Purpose:

The Senior Digital and E-Commerce Analyst leads, manages, and evolves the analytics capability that supports the digital and e-commerce team within marketing. In this role you will focus on proactively surfacing business insights while managing a wide range of analytics projects, stakeholders, and reporting that will improve our understanding of the full media to digital to store customer journey with an emphasis on the digital experience and e-commerce business.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Proactively surface analysis, insights and recommendation to stakeholders and leaders of the digital experience and e-commerce business to deliver timely analysis, insights, and recommendations.

  • Lead and improve the measurement framework that provides analytical support for digital product enhancements, e-commerce business & merchandising, and A/B testing & personalization

  • Drive evolution of measurement capabilities across the customer journey. Use this framework to identify friction points in the digital experience while making recommendations to stakeholders and leaders to improve.

  • Lead the development of top line digital and e-commerce KPI forecasting and business case modeling using a combination of advanced techniques and business and industry knowledge

  • Develop expert level understanding of the Sleep Number business and how all areas of marketing, sales, & promotions contribute to the overall financial performance with a focus on digital channels.

  • Own the end-to-end tag management process from requirement gathering to tag implementation and leverage our tag management system in partnership with engineering teams

  • Grow the digital analytics program by identifying measurement gaps and filling those with other analytics tools, reporting, or more advanced capabilities.

  • Ability to strategically build out a future team of analysts & resources to support the broader digital, e-commerce, and marketing objectives.

  • Coaches/trains team to stay cutting-edge in area of expertise and contributes positively to dynamics with support and engagement.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

  • Expert in Adobe Analytics and continues to seek out training for advancement of analytical skillset.

  • Advanced knowledge of using web analytics platforms such as Adobe Analytics (required), Google Analytics, or other web & UX analytical platforms

  • Expert knowledge of Excel

  • Experience with SQL and SAS a plus

  • Experience using and driving insights through visualization tools like PowerBI (preferred) and Tableau.

  • Background in using different tag management platforms (Adobe Launch, Google Tag Manager, etc.) to implement Adobe Analytics and Google Analytics tagging.

  • Working experience with custom JavaScript for tracking & data layer usage, and knowledge of different tracking methodologies (client-side vs server-side) a plus.

  • Exceptional ability to communicate complex ideas & processes effectively to a wide range of stakeholders & leaders (both verbally and visually).

  • Working experience with advanced analytical models for digital and marketing measurement a plus

Position Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, analytics, IT, economics, or related fields, master's degree preferred

  • 6+ years relevant experience in digital & e-commerce analytics, marketing analytics, or broader data analytics roles

  • Proven experience managing multiple projects while balancing a broad set of stakeholders required.

  • Experience leading, growing, and improving an analytics capability/program or team of analysts preferred.

  • Experience within retail industry a plus

Working Conditions:

  • Limited travel as required by business needs

  • This role is Hybrid offering a balance of remote work with the opportunity to collaborate on-site at Sleep Number's Headquarters in Minneapolis, Minnesota.
