Your role is central to our mission to save lives through cell therapy. You will govern a vast and dynamic data environment, integrating AI and analytics to drive innovation. Your acumen in securing data and ensuring regulatory compliance, while managing cost-effectiveness, will be crucial. You will orchestrate the data strategy that underpins both present and future organizational needs, steering the technology infrastructure coordinated with business ambitions. Working in concert with business and tech leaders, you will sculpt data solutions and establish a forward-thinking framework, poised for our data-centric advancements and organizational scaling. This position can be remote (US) or hybrid. #LI-Remote #LI-HybridCheck out our video Saving Lives: It's the Best Job EverACCOUNTABILITIES:Promote data democratization by designing and implementing strategies that ensure data accessibility and usability across the organization, empowering stakeholders with self-service data tools while maintaining robust data security and governance standards.Evaluate and integrate innovative technologies, including Snowflake, Salesforce Data Cloud, advise AI, and machine learning, to sustain our lead in tech innovation.Responsible for definition, stewardship, and active management of the NMDP's Data Architecture.Formulate and uphold the organization's strategic data vision and roadmap.Align data-driven initiatives with overarching business goals.Provide strategic direction on data architecture, design, and development, focusing on a data-first methodology.Proactively identify and address risks associated with data-focused projects.Construct and maintain an essential data model across Oracle EBS and Salesforce, enhancing the management and regulation of patient data, order, and care management, as well as core services.Articulate the organizational data roadmap, ensuring technology projects advance core business objectives.Lead in the stewardship of data lifecycle management, from inception to decommission.Develop efficient, scalable, and reliable data models and database designs.Establish and maintain data governance and compliance protocols, upholding data integrity and advise security.Provides architecture support and guidance to the project delivery teams.Develops standards processes and tools.Other duties as assigned.REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:Knowledge of:Data architecture frameworks, such as TOGAF, Zachman.Business architecture and how it supports business strategy with data architecture.Emerging data technologies and trends in the industry.Solid understanding of regulatory and compliance requirements in the industry.Knowledge of Oracle EBS, Salesforce Sales, Service, Community, Health Cloud, data Cloud, Snowflake.Ability to:Function as a trusted advisor within the data domain, data democratization, providing support and resolving complex issues in collaboration with other Enterprise Architects, Data Architects, Service Delivery Managers, and Project Managers.Champion a culture of teamwork and trust, driving collective success through collaboration, open communication, and mutual respect among all team members.Work side-by-side with Enterprise Architects and development teams on best practices in solution design, including integration patterns, architectural standards, and environment management.Learn business use cases quickly and effectively convey complex ideas/ solutions to audiences of diverse background and technical exposure.Demonstrate effective communication skills, both written and verbal.Education and/or Experience:A bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, information technology, engineering, or a related field is required. However, equivalent related experience and/or education may be considered as a substitute for t e degree requirement upon evaluation.Possess 8 years of data architecture experience.Leading significant data transformation projects, including strategy development and road mapping.Skilled in instituting technology standards with a strong background in collaborating with business leaders for technology solutions integration.Knowledge in risk management and compliance, with effective communication of complex technical ideas to varied audiences.Experience in Oracle, SQL Server, and Postgres Databases.PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: (Additional qualifications that may make a person even more effective in the role, but are not required for consideration)Experience in Person Accounts data model of Salesforce.Utilize AI capabilities for advanced data analysis and predictive insights.Integration Knowledge with MuleSoft.DEI COMMITMENT:As part of our values, we are committed to supporting diversity, equity, and inclusion at NMDP.
