Job Description

We are seeking a high-level Accountant to prepare and analyze financial statements to support decision-making, ensure the accuracy of accounts, and conduct regular reconciliations. The role involves overseeing the accounts receivable process, assisting in budget preparation, ensuring adherence to accounting principles, and assisting with audits. The ideal candidate will recommend cost-reduction strategies, analyze financial data for trends, ensure timely financial close processes, and prepare tax returns. You will also assist with data migration, system testing, training, process documentation, troubleshooting, and collaboration during system changes.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and analyze financial statements to support decision-making.

  • Ensure the accuracy of accounts and conduct regular reconciliations.

  • Oversee the accounts receivable process and manage collections.

  • Assist in the preparation of budgets and forecasts.

  • Ensure adherence to accounting principles and regulatory requirements.

  • Assist with internal and external audits as needed.

  • Recommend ways to reduce costs and enhance revenue.

  • Analyze financial data to identify trends and provide insights for decision-making.

  • Ensure timely and accurate financial close processes.

  • Prepare and submit tax returns and supporting documentation.

  • Assist with data migration, system testing, training, process documentation, troubleshooting, and collaboration during system changes.

Essential Skills

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

  • 3+ years of accounting/general ledger experience.

  • 1+ years of Sage Intacct experience.

  • Excel knowledge, including VLOOKUPs and Pivot Tables.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • Experience with general ledger, reconciliation, month-end processes, financial statement preparation, reporting, and accounts payable/receivable management.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $36.06 - $45.67/hr.
