Eide Bailly Sales Development Representative in Minneapolis, Minnesota

Job Description Location: Anywhere in continental US (preference for areas where Eide Bailly has business development support) Work Arrangement:Remote Typical Day in the Life A typical day as a Sales Development Representative (tax-focused) might include: Lead Generation: Identify and research potential clients through various channels, including cold calling, email campaigns, social media, and networking events. Prospecting: Reach out to potential clients to introduce our services, understand their needs, and qualify them as potential leads. Relationship Building: Develop and maintain strong relationships with prospects to qualify them for the sales funnel. Appointment Setting: Schedule meetings and appointments for the sales team with qualified leads. Product Knowledge: Maintain a deep understanding of our firm's services, with a special emphasis on our federal and specialty tax services, and be able to effectively communicate the value propositions to potential clients. CRM Management: Accurately record and manage all lead and prospect interactions in the CRM system, ensuring up-to-date and organized records. Market Research: Stay informed about industry trends, competitive landscape, and market conditions to identify new opportunities. Collaboration: Work closely with the sales team and tax leaders to develop and execute targeted outreach strategies and campaigns. Performance Metrics: Meet or exceed monthly and quarterly targets for lead generation, qualified leads, and appointments set. Who You Are 3+ years of experience in a sales development or similar role, preferably in a tax consulting or similar professional services firm Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field is preferred. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a proven ability to build and maintain relationships. Highly self-motivated and results-driven, with a strong work ethic and a passion for sales. Proficiency in CRM software (e.g., Salesforce, MS Dynamics) and other sales tools. Familiarity with MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint). Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to changing priorities. Compensation: Base salary $70,000 - $90,000 + competitive commission structure Our compensation philosophy emphasizes competitive and equitable pay. Eide Bailly complies with all local/state regulations regarding displaying ranges. Final compensation decisions are dependent upon factors such as geography, experience, education, skills, and internal equity.
