Running reactions. Maintaining lab equipment. Manifest chemical waste. 2) 10%: Assist in manuscript writing and literature searches. Write/discuss summaries of findings. 3) 10%: Assist in laboratory safety protocols and the development of standard operating procedures. Qualifications Qualifications: Required: A Bachelor's degree in chemistry, chemical engineering or related college courses and work experience in a laboratory setting totaling at least four years in combination Preferred: Experience with chemistry laboratory instrumentation. Familiarity with UMN purchasing policies and procedures. Scientific writing experience (research summaries, manuscripts for submission to journals).
