Randstad has partnered with a highly reputable plastic injection molding company located in Brooklyn Park, MN. We are looking for a skilled Quality Inspector to join the team on day shift. The role will support this by executing portions of the quality system such as monitoring calibration status, reviewing and responding to customer field complaints, and inspecting parts in the medical device assembly area. Responsibilities

Quality Technician Responsibilities

  • Perform all the necessary visual and dimensional inspections.

  • Coordinating inspection with production supervisor.

  • Recommend modifications to existing IP's or procedures.

  • Working with Production personnel to ensure molded and assembled components meet requirements and adjusting as required.

  • Following established procedures to maintain a clean and organized environment.

  • Work safely, following all safety polices and proactively participating in the safe work of others and the safety of the overall environment.

  • Read and understand GD & T, tolerances, and experience in utilizing micrometers, calipers, height gages and other inspection tools.

  • Manage cleanroom sampling to ensure controlled environment standards are met.

  • Manage calibration system

  • Reviewing device history records to ensure compliance to quality system requirements, and respond to field complaints as necessary

  • Perform other miscellaneous support work to enable the team to be successful and as requested by the Quality Manager.
