Aerotek Quality Inspector in Minneapolis, Minnesota

Job Title: Quality Inspector

Job Description

The candidate will be inspecting metal parts ranging from hand-sized to 140"L x W. You will work with GD&T blueprints and use various tools including micrometers, calipers, thread rings, thread plugs, and radius gauges. Training will be provided for the inspection vision table. You will predominantly work on the shop floor, which is not temperature-controlled. The role requires the ability to lift up to 40 lbs. and operate hoists/lifts for maneuvering larger parts. Initial training will take place in Bloomington for up to one month.

Responsibilities

  • Inspect metal parts ranging in size using GD&T blueprints.

  • Utilize tools such as micrometers, calipers, thread rings, thread plugs, and radius gauges.

  • Operate an inspection vision table (training provided).

  • Work predominantly on the shop floor.

  • Lift up to 40 lbs. and use hoists/lifts for larger parts.

  • Be the sole inspector at the Lakeville facility.

Essential Skills

  • Proficiency in reading GD&T blueprints.

  • Experience with micrometers, calipers, thread rings, thread plugs, and radius gauges.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • Audit experience is a plus.

Work Environment

Job Type & Location

This is a Permanent position based out of Minneapolis, Minnesota.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $49920.00 - $64480.00

Dalsin offers health benefits, a wellness program, 401k match, profit sharing and a bonus program.

Dalsin matches 3% when the employee contributes 6%.

Safety shoe and safety goggle reimbursement: $125 safety shoe reimbursement and $150 every two years for safety goggles.
