"Job#: 2045185 Job Description: Job Opportunity: Project Manager in Financial ServicesLocation:Minneapolis MN - 3 days onsite a week, must be local to Minneapolis St. Paul areaType: Full Time ContractAbout the Role:We are seeking a dynamic Project Manager to lead and drive the implementation of key project deliverables. This role is pivotal in ensuring that projects are completed on time, within budget, and meet the defined success criteria.Key Responsibilities:Strategic Alignment:Ensure project deliverables align with business objectives.Project Planning:Define, estimate, and schedule project tasks and interdependencies.Resource Management:Identify project resource requirements and ensure skilled resources are available.Accountability:Hold resources accountable for delivering on the project plan, providing coaching and mentoring as needed.Methodology Adherence:Follow approved project management methodologies and maintain project artifacts and records.Performance Tracking:Identify and track key measures of success for the project.Analysis and Optimization:Analyze project performance, create cost-benefit analyses, and identify optimal solutions.Corrective Actions:Implement corrective actions to ensure project success and facilitate change requests.Stakeholder Communication:Provide consistent communications and progress reports to stakeholders.Risk Management:Escalate significant risks and issues to the Steering Committee/Project Sponsor.Collaboration:Work effectively with business partners, vendors, technology, and project management staff.Transition Management:Transition projects into daily business operations upon completion.Ideal Candidate Profile:Experience:Proven experience leading large, complex projects.Skills:Strong written and verbal communication skills.Ability to drive through ambiguity and adapt to changing environments.Attention to detail and ability to drive results.Solid understanding of Project Management methodologies, tools, and techniques, including CMMi methods.Objective decision-making ability, strong analytical, and problem-solving skills.Leadership:Ability to act independently with little direction (for Executive and Senior roles).Education:BA and/or BS in Business, Finance, Mathematics, or related field, or equivalent work experience.EEO EmployerApex Systems is an equal opportunity employer.
