This position will have clinical responsibilities in pediatric pulmonology/cystic fibrosis, and will further develop and lead the pediatric cystic fibrosis program. The individual chosen will hold the Marzatto Chair in Cystic Fibrosis Care. Successful candidates will be at or eligible for the rank of Associate Professor or Professor with Tenure, depending on qualifications and interests. Support for bench or clinical research will be made available as part of the recruitment. Qualifications Required qualifications: MD or DO, Board-certified or board eligible in Pediatric Pulmonology Experienced in the care of people with cystic fibrosis. Competency in procedures commonly performed. Eligible candidates would have an ongoing clinical or bench research program in an area of cystic fibrosis. The cystic fibrosis program at the University of Minnesota is a strong multidisciplinary program with a long history of excellent outcomes. About the Department The Department of Pediatrics is a large academic department with over 100 full-time faculty and ranks in the top 10 nationally in NIH funding. Children are cared for at the University of Minnesota Masonic Children's Hospital, opened in 2011.
