Omnicell Professional Services, Consulting Services – IV Solutions Specialist II

Most of your time will be spent with our customers helping guide pharmacy automation and improve business outcomes while working in parallel with cross-functional teams. We will look to you to provide experiences that compel our customers to partner with us. You will advise customers on workflows that optimize medication management to create safety and more efficient ways to manage medications across all care settings.

Your key responsibilities

  • Intermediate understanding of Omnicell’s products and solutions, advising customers, and resolving technical issues affecting usability.

  • Lead design conversations with our customers to optimize the implementation and partnering with our customers to achieve desired outcomes.

  • Represent professional services on-site with customers in the healthcare setting.

  • Responsible for small scale end-to-end implementations for multi-product and solutions while working autonomously with minimum supervision either onsite or remote.

  • Facilitate in person and virtual meetings effectively.

  • Perform end user support and guidance during implementation while on-site with customers in the healthcare setting.

  • Execute the build and testing tasks within project plans to meet defined scope and milestones for project deployment.

  • Utilize previous experience to handle multiple tasks and priorities while providing quality results.

  • Responsible for resolution of issues and identification of potential risks (people and technology) that could impact customer relationship and project timelines.

  • Communicate project issues and risks appropriately following escalation procedures.

  • Required to professionally document all work performed and submit accurate time entry for client utilization metric.

  • Provide knowledge and experience to configure Omnicell’s products based on customer’s workflows to deliver high value and improve medication management and patient safety.

  • Contribute to customer satisfaction and success of project implementations collectively with the project management and technical services team.

  • Capable of working with our customers to be care providers most trusted partner while helping clinicians optimize workflows and medication management.

Required knowledge and skills

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, comfort leading conversations with audiences of all levels.

  • Ability to work within defined scope and milestones for project deployment.

  • Actively listening to customers’ needs to design solutions and partnering to deliver the desired outcomes.

  • Mentoring peers and bringing others along.

  • Familiarity with applications of technology within a cloud-based platform and delivering solutions as a service.

  • Solutions Oriented – willing to roll up their sleeves, identify a problem and come to the team with a solution.

To qualify for the role

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Highly self-motivated and solutions-oriented individual working autonomously with minimal supervision.

  • Possess a wide knowledge of Omnicell products, configurations, workflows and understands impact to customer outcomes.

  • Understanding of implementation methodologies and technical systems configuration.

  • Curious – Always searching for the ‘why.’

  • Life-long learner continuously thriving in a fast-paced innovative technology company.

  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications including Microsoft Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.

  • May require product specific certification for FDA approved products or knowledge of healthcare regulations, when handling specialized products.

  • Omnicell internal candidates’ completion of department specific trainings and mentoring.

  • Comfortable leading change and influencing others to move towards a common vision or goal

  • Experience using technology while compounding sterile products highly preferred.

  • Certified Compounded Sterile Preparation Technician (CSPT) highly preferred.

Basic Qualifications

Minimum 3 years’ experience in healthcare setting w/ Associates Degree or Professional Healthcare Certification

OR

BA/BS in Healthcare, Project management, Business Admin, Finance, or MIS

And

A minimum of two years of experience leading healthcare solution implementations or if internal, must meet the qualifications

Working Conditions

  • Must be able to travel 100%.

  • Must be able to lift/push heavy equipment and have good dexterity for doing routine configuration tasks.
