ManpowerGroup Production Associate in Minneapolis, Minnesota
Our client, a Global Manufacturer of specialized polymer materials, is seeking a Production Associate to join their team. As a Production Associate, you will be part of the Manufacturing department supporting the Extruder team.
The ideal candidate will have prior manufacturing experience, prior forklift operation experience and excellent problem-solving skills which will align successfully in the organization.
Job Title: Production Associate
Location: New Hope, MN
Pay: $20/hour
Shift: 7AM - 3:30PM, Monday - Friday
Position Length: Contract to Hire, Between 3-12 months on Contract
What’s the Job?
Responsible for uptime and running of production extruder lines
Sets up and starts extruder machinery, checking all controls for adherence to operating/safety procedures
Safely and neatly processes, batch off, screen, cut up, package and/or skid material to correct size/container according to customer specifications
Accurately supplies/supports Production Operators with appropriate materials/functions to efficiently keep all equipment operational
Ensures the correct ingredients are delivered to the work area
What’s Needed?
Forklift Experience
High School Diploma/GED
Ability to lift/move up to 55 pounds and occasionally handle up to 250 pounds
Ability to stand; walk; stoop; kneel; crouch or crawl; use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools or controls; talk and/or hear
Specific vision abilities including close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and the ability to adjust focus
