Research Interest. Our lab is interested in two research topics: applying single-cell multi-omics to study somatic mutations or epimutations in the biology of aging and age-related diseases; and developing novel experimental and computational methods in single-cell omics. You will lead a new research project in studying somatic mutations or DNA methylation changes in different cell types of humans or rodents in normal or premature aging in collaboration with wet-lab scientists using single-cell sequencing technologies; or develop a novel single-cell omics method. You will present the progress of the project orally in intramural, national, and international meetings and conferences, and in writing in scientific manuscripts and grant progress reports. Qualifications Required: Ph.D., or equivalent degree in Genomics, Bioinformatics, Computational Biology or a related field. Demonstrated research experience as evidenced by a strong publication record. Experience in somatic mutation analysis. Ability to shoot troubles in your studies. Preferred: Experience in single-cell genomics or multi-omics. Experience in collaboration with scientists of different expertise. Excellent communication and writing skills.
