We are seeking a detail-oriented Payroll Analyst to join our client's team and support payroll operations with a focus on overpayment and missed pay cases. In this role, you will leverage your experience in in-house payroll processing, utilizing systems like Workday, UKG, and ServiceNow. Your key responsibilities will include analyzing payroll data, managing cases, and ensuring accuracy in payroll calculations. If you have an extensive background in payroll operations, excellent analytical skills, and enjoy working collaboratively to resolve issues, we invite you to and contribute to our client's dynamic team.

salary: $35 - $39 per hour

work hours: 8 AM - 5 PM

Responsibilities

• Overpayment and Retroactive Pay Review: Analyze payroll data to identify overpayments by running reports in Workday and cross-referencing entries in the UKG timekeeping system. Determine the validity of negative retro results.

• ServiceNow Case Management: Create and manage cases in ServiceNow for identified overpayments. Use preloaded templates to communicate with employees via email regarding overpayment notifications and authorization for recouping funds.

• Data Analysis and Validation: Conduct detailed comparisons between payroll and timekeeping data to ensure accuracy. Identify and raise potential system defects when results are not valid.

• Collaboration and Coordination: Work collaboratively with the payroll operations team to align processes and avoid discrepancies. Coordinate with the service center for any employee-requested follow-up communications.

• Documentation and Reporting: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all actions taken in the payroll systems. Export and manage data in Excel for analysis and reporting purposes.
