Description
A human resources recruiter is typically in charge of seeking out quality candidates, confirming their qualifications, and placing them in open roles at a company. Their duties include researching job seekers and inviting them to apply to a job, evaluating candidates through phone interviews, and filling out hiring paperwork.
• Source and recruit candidates using local and national databases, social media,
external online job boards, etc.
• Evaluate candidates resumes and job applications
• Leverage Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) to help build and manage a pipeline of
potential candidates
• Conduct interviews using various reliable recruiting and selection tools/methods to filter
candidates within schedule
• Assess applicants’ relevant knowledge, skills, soft skills, experience, and aptitudes
• Successfully onboard new employees to become fully integrated
• Act as a point of contact and build influential candidate relationships during the
selection process
• Assist with promoting a company’s external reputation
Requirements
A HR Recruiter must have exceptional interpersonal and communications skills and HR or recruiting experience; should possess working knowledge of HR functions and procedures, including compensation and benefits, recruitment, training and development, and federal, state, and local laws, such as HIPAA and COBRA. This role may require candidates to have a bachelor’s degree in HR.
