Salary $61,687.77 - $76,750.25 Annually Job Type Full-time Job Number 24HED842MV057 Closing Date 9/19/2024 11:59 PM Central Description The Hennepin County Housing and Economic Development department is seeking candidates for a Home Inspector position in the Housing Development and Finance division. This position will assist with implementation of residential home improvement grants and work within the Healthy Homes program to help protect families from lead-based paint and other hazards. Location and hours: This position will be performed onsite both at 701 4th Avenue South, Minneapolis, Minnesota 55415 and other locations throughout the county to complete inspections with other team members. Work hours are Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. - 4:30 p.m. with some flexibility and may extend to 6 p.m. on some days. About the position type: This position is a full-time, benefit earning position. In this position, you will: Inspect homes and properties throughout the county with other members of the team. Perform lead-based paint inspections/risk assessments and clearance inspections in residential dwelling units. Prepare lead-based paint inspection/risk assessment and clearance reports. Perform Continuous Radon Monitor testing. Prepare Radon Test results reports. Monitor and maintain all inspection related supplies and equipment for the division. Input case and inspection information into the database.
