Join a dynamic and growing team where your expertise in electrical engineering will play a pivotal role in launching a revolutionary life-safety IoT product. You will be at the forefront of defining product specifications, designing schematics, and creating PCB layouts for microcontroller-based embedded systems. Your contributions will span the entire R&D lifecycle, from initial concept through to post-launch, ensuring that the product meets both regulatory standards and customer expectations.

In this role, you will collaborate closely with firmware engineers and a cross-functional team to bring new products to life. Your ability to design and test prototypes, troubleshoot issues, and achieve compliance with UL and FCC standards will be critical to our Client's success. If you have a solid background in electrical engineering, experience with R&D in new product development, and a drive to innovate within the IoT space, we want to hear from you!

responsibilities:

  • Support and Develop Electronic Hardware: Play a crucial role in contributing to and supporting the design and development of electronic hardware for our new life-safety IoT product.

  • Design and Innovate Future Products: Take charge of designing and developing the electronic circuitry and hardware components for upcoming innovative products, ensuring they meet required specifications.

  • Collaborate on Component Selection: Work closely with the firmware engineering team to select and integrate microcontrollers, communication modules, sensors, and other critical hardware components into the product design.

  • Ensure Regulatory Compliance: Design systems that not only meet product goals but also achieve necessary regulatory certifications, such as UL and FCC compliance, while optimizing for noise immunity.

  • Prototype Development and Testing: Lead the efforts in building, testing, troubleshooting, and documenting prototypes, ensuring the product is thoroughly vetted before and after launch.
