Better Futures Minnesota Field Supervisor in Minneapolis, Minnesota
Job Summary Better Futures Minnesota (the Company) is an ambitious enterprise that initiates, promotes and protects Environmental Stewardship. Field Supervisors work in one or more business lines, including Property or Janitorial Services, Retail Sales at the ReUse Warehouse, Appliance Recycling, Waste Diversion, Curbside Pickup, and Deconstruction. Field Supervisors may be assigned/reassigned to and from business lines and transfer between job sites at any time, at the direction of Management, according to the needs of the Company. Primary Duties and Responsibilities Field Supervisors are also responsible for organizing, training, and supervising the work crews who perform deconstruction, waste diversion, janitorial, property maintenance, appliance recycling and sales services. Field Supervisors evaluate the performance of workers daily. The key expectations are safety, efficient deployment of workers, and completing a job within scope and budget and on time. This position requires a high level of flexibility, including occasional evening, weekend, and on-call responsibilities. Key roles and activities assigned to Field Supervisors include: Actively participate in the orientation, training and evaluation of workers Guide, coach and motivate the development of jobsite skills and competencies Organize and supervise work crews across business lines as assigned Clean and Maintain equipment and tools needed to complete assignments Maintain onsite safety regulations, conduct safety checks, logs and records Report all incidents promptly, completing incident reports and filing with Manager Conduct daily 7 Point vehicle safety and maintenance checks, log and record Maintain exceptional relations with customers to meet or exceed expectations Maintain high standards of the mission and values of Better Futures Minnesota Assist with preparing budgets and bids for new work Gather and maintain performance data; maintain individual and group records Complete all jobs in a quality manner, on-time, and within budget Establish and maintain a safe work environment at all times Exemplify and enforce Better Futures Minnesota workplace safety standards, Use of required Personal Protection Equipment Better Futures Minnesota prohibits drug and alcohol use in the workplace Light duty / work restrictions due to injury or illness Offers Contingent Upon: Successful completion of pre-employment work simulation and drug/alcohol screening. Successful completion of background check in accordance with Fair Credit Reporting Act for employment purposes and driving history. Verification of references.
