Job Summary Canteen One is searching for a detail-oriented and experienced supervisor to oversee and coordinate the daily operations of our invoicing department. This position is responsible for many layers of detail and management of accounts, and the coordination and maintenance of these details is critical. You will be involved with and support customers, customer's unique billing, and catalog reconciliation. Additional responsibilities include recruiting and supervising staff. You will handle escalated issues and provide daily direction, coaching, training and problem resolution for staff. To be successful as a Consolidation Services Supervisor, you will need the ability to use both analytical and intuitive judgment and sound decision making in interpreting, developing and applying new methods and policies that affect the business. You should have a thorough understanding of business and accounting processes and principles, as well as strong leadership skills. Essential Duties & Responsibilities: Ensure Master Data is correct, and when not setup correctly, removes road blocks Weekly 'balance to zero' (all supplier invoices are converted to sales orders with matching vouchers) Supplier payments are made on time, remittance is posted to website and variances are reconciled Customer payments are received on time and applied to open AR; unpaid amounts are escalated to Manager/Director for collection Responsible for creating system SOPs, and identify changes to improve processing Has a high level of communication concerning catalogs, purchase orders, invoice processing, and payments Maintain the customer catalog as provided by the Client Services Team Assure accurate and timely aging and payment information reported monthly Inspect reports and summaries to look for possible gaps Complete on-time additional requests from customers, suppliers and Regional Controllers Assist/support team in reconciling and resolving open AR; this requires building a strong relationship with the Customer's accounting team. Oversees collection of manual invoices and EDI docs to ensure timely completion Communicate timely with Manager of Consolidation Services to resolve payment issues Escalate unresolved issues to Director of Consolidation Ser ices Supervises staff and handles escalated issues and provides daily direction, coaching, training and problem resolution for staff Ensure quarterly review of KPI status of each Associate Qualifications: A Bachelor's degree is strongly preferred, with two or more years of related experience; or an Associate's degree, preferred, with five (5) years of relevant experience; or a high school diploma/G.E.D. with 8 years of previous relevant supervisory experience Experience maintaining positive client relationships / relationship-building experience Experience in procurement (i.e. managing catalogs), EDI, and reporting and analysis Supervisor experience strongly preferred High volume work experience with accounts receivable/accounts payable Specific work experience in cash applications with heavy volume of small transactions equaling large payments/dollars; handling complex, small transaction invoicing; and reconciling imbalanced accounts (A/R and A/P) Demonstrated high level of proficiency in MS Excel and Word Demonstrated ability to use a report writing program, Business Objects preferred Experience with JD Edwards or similar ERP system is preferable (i.e. SAP, PeopleSoft, Oracle) Experience with MS PowerPoint Apply to Canteen One today!
