Candidate must have graduated from an ACGME accredited Dermatology residency and be ABD board eligible or board certified. The Department of Dermatology is committed to providing excellent patient care, conducting investigational research, and training the next generation of dermatologists. The Department trains 3 fellows (Derm Surgery, Peds Derm, Clinical Research)and 22 residents, (10 in the Medical Dermatology program and 12 in the Categorical program) each year. We have world-renowned clinical programs and pioneering clinical trials. We are dedicated to improving dermatological care not only for today but for the future. Robert Dellavalle MD, PhD, MSPH, Head of the Department of Dermatology, leads our team of 17 full-time faculty members and several adjunct and volunteer faculty covering all sub-specialties of dermatology. Practice Details: This is a full-time position that will carry the rank commensurate with the applicant's experience on the department's Academic Track. Location(s) of practice: Minneapolis-Saint Paul metropolitan area. Clinical practice of general dermatology and a dermatology subspecialty. Research experience in dermatology topics including clinical research, education, medical dermatology, dermatoepidemiology, or other areas related to dermatological practice and education is highly desired. Openings: 1.0 FTE (Full Time) Income Details: 2-year market competitive salary guarantee. Qualifications Graduate of an accredited ACGME Dermatology residency or Internal Medicine/Dermatology residency. Board eligible/certified in Dermatology. Licensed or ability to obtain Minnesota Board of Medical Practice Licensure. Ability to obtain/maintain DEA certification in the State of Minnesota Meet threshold criteria/qualifications for Credentialing and Privileges Applicants may be in field of general dermatology or a combination of general dermatology and a subspecialty such as pediatric dermatology, cosmetic dermatology, etc. Excellent written and verbal communication skills Exceptional collaboration abilities with partners and staff. Understands and places importance on patient care/service. Detail oriented and self-motivated Education focused and a creative problem-solver Ready to lead with development of new practice sites in collaboration with the core University site.
