Job Title: Environmental Engineer

Job Description

The Environmental Technician will visit active construction job sites to perform air quality and air monitoring tests, as well as water sampling. Most job sites will be K-12 schools undergoing remodeling or expansion. The engineer will connect with the project manager on site, conduct the necessary sampling, perform various tests, and analyze the results.

Responsibilities

  • Visit active construction job sites to perform air quality and air monitoring tests.

  • Conduct water sampling at various job sites.

  • Connect with the on-site project manager to coordinate testing activities.

  • Perform multiple tests and analyze the results.

  • Ensure compliance with environmental safety standards.

Essential Skills

  • Knowledge of life sciences, environmental compliance, environmental monitoring, and environmental science.

  • Bachelor of Science in an environmental-related field.

  • Experience or knowledge in industrial hygiene, environmental health and safety (EHS).

  • Ability to perform air quality sampling, water sampling, and air monitoring.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • Construction experience is preferred but not required.

  • Experience in environmental safety, sample preparation, and lab work.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $22.00/hr.
