Job#: 2049212 Job Description: If interested in the opportunity below please email a word copy of your resume to[email protected] Position: Equipment Engineer Location: Bloomington, MN (Hybrid)30 Month Contract Description:Position: Engineer-Equipment - III Candidates: Local to Bloomington office Primary Focus: SIM ProjectsWhat You'll Be Doing: Work with cellular engineering and operations to ensure equipment availability for cell site improvement projects. Determine equipment needs and order/integrate a wide range of equipment (e.g., cell site generators, batteries, heating/cooling systems). Collaborate with Network teams (RF Design, Operations, Real Estate, Construction, Facilities, System Performance) to implement new technologies and services. Responsibilities: Provide engineering and design support for multiple project types. Initiate Material Requests for shipment from the centralized warehouse. Forecast future equipment/budget needs based on project start dates. Ensure proper tracking of all components.Monitor all equipment expenditures. Prepare purchase orders and ensure vendor payment. Oversee equipment receipt and acceptance. Manage supplier relationships to meet network milestones and turn-up dates. Attend project update meetings to present status updates. Follow methods and procedures for equipment tracking and inventory control. Review drawings for accuracy. What We're Looking For: Enjoy orchestrating multiple moving parts to deliver solutions. You'll Need to Have: Associate's degree or two or more years of work experience. Three or more years of relevant work experience. Knowledge of Microsoft Office and Google Suites. Attention to detail.Ability to multi-task and work independently. Strong project management and communication skills. Even Better If You Have:Knowledge of backup power systems used in telecommunications. Knowledge of cellular network architecture. Knowledge of Ericsson base station equipment.
