We are seeking a skilled Dispatch Manager to oversee daily logistics operations, including managing driver assignments, optimizing route efficiency, and maintaining compliance across all fleet assets. This position will serve as a primary point of contact for all customer interactions, working closely with dispatch teams, warehouse operations, and customer service to ensure smooth, safe, and efficient transport activities. Key duties include coordinating and assigning routes, optimizing schedules, compliance monitoring, equipment allocation, and responding to customer inquiries, and generating reports to support sales and operational planning. Ideal candidate brings 2+ years of dispatching experience with a keen understanding of DOT regulations. Responsibilities:

• Oversee the coordination and assignment of routes for drivers across various shifts.

• Optimize schedules to ensure the appropriate availability of both equipment and drivers.

• Monitor the condition and timely movements of trucks, reporting on repairs as necessary.

• Coordinate with sales, management, and other departments to communicate delivery schedules, customer delays, and any operational updates.

• Ensure efficient handling of warehouse documents to optimize transportation and reduce costs.

• Oversee compliance processes, including inspections, and ensuring proper documentation and adherence to DOT standards.

• Serve as the primary point of contact, managing all phone, email, and text communications with drivers, customers, and internal teams.

• Respond to after-hours inquiries from drivers and customers to provide timely support.

• Generate monthly reports to support sales and operational planning.

• Support the scheduling of specialized service requests in collaboration with dispatchers to meet customer requirements.

  Requirements

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field (preferred).

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in dispatching, fleet management, or a similar role within the logistics or transportation industry.

• Proficiency with scheduling software or dispatching systems, with the ability to quickly learn and adapt to new technologies.

• Solid understanding of DOT regulations and compliance requirements, with experience implementing DOT standards.

• Exceptional organizational and multitasking skills, able to manage multiple priorities and adapt to fast-paced, dynamic environments.

• High attention to detail with a proactive approach to problem-solving and flexibility to accommodate shifting priorities.

• Strong verbal and written communication skills required, demonstrating professionalism and a customer-focused attitude in all interactions.
